Restauracja 174
About This Spot
Stepping into Restauracja 174 feels like arriving at a cherished country home filled with quiet warmth and thoughtful hospitality. Nestled in the heart of Opole, this inviting spot unfolds at a gentle pace, where the charm of a traditional farmhouse blends seamlessly with a carefully curated modern touch. The atmosphere is calming yet subtly alive, perfect for lingering over shared meals or intimate conversations.
The restaurant’s essence is found in its heartfelt approach to Polish cuisine—dishes that speak to heritage without feeling stuck in the past. Here, classic flavors like pierogi, rich żurek, or tender rolada are presented with a mindful respect for technique and ingredient, balancing deep-rooted comfort with a fresh sensibility. Whether you’re savoring a bowl of hot, fragrant onion soup or delighting in a delicate dessert mingling strawberries and mint, every bite seems to invite a moment of quiet appreciation.
Restauracja 174’s setting mirrors its culinary ethos. Inside, tasteful details recall the spirit of the countryside, while large windows and garden views bring softness and light. It’s an atmosphere where both locals and visitors find solace—a place where the buzz of the city quiets down just enough to tune into the simple joy of a well-made meal.
The staff here contribute as much to the experience as the food itself, blending friendly attentiveness with a natural ease that makes guests feel genuinely welcomed. Their warmth fills the space without overwhelming, offering a kind of personal service that enhances the peaceful, homey vibe.
For those wandering near the Village Museum or seeking a refuge from busy days, Restauracja 174 offers a quietly distinct experience—a place where tradition and thoughtful hospitality come together to create more than a meal, but a thoughtful local moment to remember.

This is the betst polish restaurant I've ever been to. So amazed by traditional dishes made properly in a modern way. Definitely with La Finestra one of the best restaurants in Opole

Delicious food, very tasteful decorations, and friendly and attentive staff. The prices may be a bit on the high side, but the setting in a beautiful old farmhouse or on the garden makes up for it. As a foreigner I was immediately given an English menu and served in English. The Barszcz was absolutely delicious!
